Thanks to generous donations from everywhere, we were able to do in this catastrophic year for La Palma

44 donations with a total amount of

€ 39’692.-

of which € 6’905.- for the victims of the fire in Los Llanos and El Paso

as well as € 19’087.- for the victims of the volcanic eruption

Extra donation for Los Llanos for people affected by the volcano

According to a specific list of volcano victims, we bought household appliances, bed grates and mattresses for € 2’300.-.

Purchase of petrol vouchers / volcano

Because of the roads cut off from the lava, many those affected by the volcanic eruption now have to drive 2 hours instead of 20 minutes to their workplace or to their banana finca to water and harvest, and need much more gasoline, which has just become more expensive again. That’s why we bought petrol vouchers for € 1’000.-.

Extra donation for Tazacorte for people affected by the volcano

The municipality of Tazacorte wanted food instead of gifts for the children at Epiphany, as these are urgently needed. We therefore bought staples and also some sweets for Christmas for € 2’000.-.

Biodanza Solidaria has donated € 668.- for the volcano victims.

At the request of the Ayuntamiento Los Llanos we bought vouchers for € 1’000.- for clothes and household linen that are urgently needed.

At the request of the Ayuntamiento Los Llanos we bought for € 595.- towels, which are urgently needed.

We ceived a call from the Ayuntamiento Los Llanos that bedding and towels are urgently needed for the volcano victims. We bought it for € 1’000.- an brought it immediately to the donation centre Los Llanos.

Upon request of the Ayuntamiento Los Llanos we bought for € 692.- bed sheets, which are urgently needed.

At this point we would like to mention that all the shops in Los llanos have given us generous discounts to help too!

Donation from the Football Club CF CAMPANARIO of the province of Badajoz

Today we have received the following message:

“Good afternoon, we are a modest football club in the province of Badajoz, CF CAMPANARIO. This morning our youth team has played a match for the benefit of those affected by the volcano of La Palma. We have entered € 200, tomorrow we will make this deposit in your bank account. Greetings and a lot of strength.”

Purchase for the donation camp in Los Llanos / volcano

We received a call from the Asistentes Sociales, that canned fish is urgently needed and therefore have made a purchase for € 800.- and brought directly to the donation camp.

We bought food and hygiene products for € 1’000.- for the people who lost their house and everything due to the volcanic eruption.

Purchase for the donation camp in Las Martelas/La Laguna

We bought food and hygiene products for € 1’000.- for the people who lost their house and everything due to the volcanic eruption and brought it to the donation camp in Las Martelas.

Donations for the victims of the volcanic eruption.

Friends and family members of the founder of SOS La Palma, Annette Ibarra, have donated € 500.- from Denmark. She bought clothes for the victims of the volcanic eruption.

TOTAL EXTRA DONATIONS for the victims of the fire in Los Llanos and El Paso

For a total of € 6’905.- we bought household goods, materials for the reconstruction of the houses and clothes for the victims of the fire, partly in the form of vouchers for various shops in Los Llanos and El Paso.

Palmero DJ Jacob Alonso played 24 hours to raise funds for families affected by the fire. We got donations from 66 people with a total of € 5005.- and we will buy things for the home for the people of Los Llanos and El Paso.

Mr. Daniel Camacho of the Club Dorya has written to us that members of this club have sold bracelets to help people affected by the fire in Los Llanos and El Paso. They have donated € 103.-. Thanks a lot!

For the people whose houses were burned down, we have bought for€ 900.- the bare essentials. (€700.- from us and € 200.- from a anonymous donor)

The second donation for Tazacorte

After we received a cry for help from the Ayuntamiento Tazacorte that they had absolutely no more food, we made a second donation this year and bought food for € 500.- and delivered it the following day.
